The state shoot is part of the trap season for the Plymouth Trap Team. The state shoot takes place at the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association homegrounds, AKA "Rome" ALL kids are encouraged to participate in the state shoot. It does not matter your skill level as each kid will be placed into their own classification and compete against the same skill set. The SCTP State shoot is normally the last weekend in June each year. The state shoot consists of all trap disciplines such as singles, handicap and doubles. They also have skeet and sporting clays competition. This event is can easily be a day adventure if just shooting the singles event. There are hotels in the area or make it one of your camping weekends.
